Academic Work

Through academic work at Pratt Institute and the University of Arizona, Sarena explored design across scales, from architecture to urban systems, combining design studios, urban interventions, and GIS-based mapping and analysis to better understand how cities function and use how research-driven approaches to community-centered design.
