Public and Non-Profit Work

Sarena’s public and nonprofit work focuses on community-centered design, collaborative engagement, and projects that strengthen civic space. Her experience includes the Orchard Street Streetscape Co-Design initiative with Pilot Projects Design Collective, Riverpulse public art installation in Starlight Park with the Bronx River Art Center, and multiple projects completed with the Prospect Park Alliance, including a new Horse Riding Facility and a new vision for the Vale of Cashmere. Across projects, her work emphasizes collaboration with communities, artists, and stakeholders to create inclusive, accessible, and meaningful public environments.
